Maritime institute

I chose this course as I wanted to pursue btech, moreover, career security also matters. Faculty to student ratio is about 1:15 to 20. High qualification of faculty Examinations were timed perfectly and were moderately difficult.

College provides great placement opportunities or you could get pre-sponsorship if you are good enough or a sports player(the higher level you played the higher the chance of placement). The minimum recommended percentage is 65% in 12th and in btech about 75 or above.

Fees hike is about 1 lakh per annum. The cost to study by btech is about 19 lakhs. Here scholarship is not provided but if you are good enough you get a sponsorship from a company which would make your placement secure even before the commencement of the course.

Life on the campus is a bit on the tougher side. Books and journals are available, thanks to the big library. In sports, many competitions are held among maritime institutes(students with sports certificates are the ones preferred ).

Hostal accommodations belongs to institute ypu have to opt for accommodation as this is kind of a training institute . Meal is one of the best I have seen ever. Regiatration is made with admission process. Locality is good in day time.

To get admission Appeared in IMU CET, and secured a rank. Applied to the college from its website. They contacted me for basics and a minor Clarence exam. Then informed about the examination and told to submit documents for verification. Then submitted the documents physically. Was informed about the upcoming session. Reached college 1 day before the beginning of the session with parents(some document signature). College life begins.
