Course Curriculum Overview

I have to do my engineering to get abroad jobs as software engineering. Overall faculty was better. student ratio is around 60 to 70. All faculty are well qualified and their teaching methods are also good. midterm exams are easy to get high marks but the end sem exams are tough.

Fees and Financial Aid

For this college fees are lower than other colleges. but the other costs like books, notes, manuals and all are costly. There were so many scholarships to apply like the Punjabrao scholarship for those students who are living in hostels and pgs.

Campus Life

There was the Technobash festival in the college which is conducted at the last of the year. All types of books are available in the college library. Projects are fitted in classrooms. In this college, there was a society that handled all of the things of any function and all.

Admission

Yes, I took the Jee mains entrance exam. after the application we need to fill out the online admission form via cap round you will get selected for college depending on the marks. For IT engineering you want good marks in the entrance exam otherwise get the college seat via donation. We can find the application form and all on the college website.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.
