College campus is very huge. Thats why we feel very good.
Teacher's behaviour and faculty behaviour is veri good.

Canteen food quality is very poor and unhygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are good and the course curriculum is also so good. I chose this course because I have so much interest in computers and technology. Almost every faculty member has done their PHD. Before Semester 4 internals are taken.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 270000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of our college is so good it's not that high. Our college approves many scholarships. There is a scholarship named Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, I got this scholarship this year and will receive it next year. Campus placement in our college is pretty good.

Campus Life

Campus life in our college is so good. Our college has a really big Campus. Our college held many cultural events and other events and every year a Tech Fest is Organized by the college. Our college has a very big library. There are many clubs in our college like the Coding club, Music club, Sports club, NCC club etc.

Admission

The admission process was great. For admission, I had to take an entrance exam. the application process was OK. The cut-off of this exam was not that hard to get. I did not get any reservation benefits. Application forms and other stuff related to admission are available in the admission cell.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus in the last i,e 8th semester before that their not eligible for campus placement Conpanies like Tcs , Capgemini, tech mahindra, accenture etc visites the college for BCA placements The average offers ranges from 4-6 lakhs per annum the highest was around 12lakhs The highest was 12 lakhs per annum from Accenture and lowest was 3 lakhs per annum by tcs The student percentage is around 80 percent of then get placed while some also pursue higher studies My plan is to pursue Mtech from abroad and then eventually get placed at a nice company

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA provides the students with theoretical knowledge and practical experience that helps them to go for various job possibilities in the sphere of computer application from handling projects to complex programming. A BCA degree prepares the students to deal with anything and everything. The student teacher ratio is 1:20. The teachers are very well. They always treat you like a friend. The student teacher bond is very good. They are highly qualified (P.hd /m.tech). The term exam is always on time even all the CA exams are always on time. University provides an Id and password where he/she can see their marks/ date of examination. The difficulty level is moderate not too easy / not too hard.

Remarks:

We have got good faculties. The teachers are very much friendly and helpful. Besides class one can get teachers guidance anytime. They help us with the upcoming trends. The environment is really good. The seniors are very nice and helpful. It has got two basketball court two football grounds.

Reality of Jis college of engineering

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
