Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The MBBS course curriculum is all-encompassing, encompassing a broad spectrum of medical sciences. It encompasses subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, and Clinical Medicine. The faculty-to-student ratio is notably favorable, with seasoned professors and medical practitioners providing guidance. A significant proportion of the faculty members hold advanced degrees and possess extensive clinical expertise. Term examinations were consistently conducted as per the schedule, allowing ample time for adequate preparation. The level of difficulty varied depending on the specific subject and the depth of knowledge required. Passing these exams demanded unwavering commitment and diligence, but with the faculty's guidance, it remained achievable.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship is available from this college only, it's mandatory to do a 1-year internship to get an MBBS degree. After completing you will get an MBBS degree, now you can work on your own or get a Government job. To get Government Jobs for Doctors is not a big deal.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the MBBS program in this college is nearly 50,000 annually. There are government scholarships available for medical students based on income and reservation. Course Duration is 4.5 years with 1 year of internship. In an internship, we get a stipend of up to 15000. After passing all these you will get an MBBS Degree, You easily get a Government job based on your location Salary varies from 60000 to 1 lakh. Or you can prepare for Post graduation.

Campus Life

3.5

Students engage in various social activities, including gatherings, parties, and cultural events. It's an excellent opportunity to make lifelong friends. Annually Engima fest occurs at time of November it's for 15 to 25 days. The library has every author's book for MBBS. It has a very big space for study. Classrooms are equipped with audio-visual aids, making learning more interactive and engaging, but the infrastructure is very old it needs renovation Sports and Extracurricular Activities: Campuses often have Indore for table tennis and badminton. Various extracurriculars as drama, music, and dance, are encouraged. Students have associations like JDA.

Admission

The admission process for MBBS typically involves taking the NEET UG entrance exam. After meeting the cutoff scores, candidates proceed to a counseling session where they select colleges based on their preferences and reservation categories. For example, in my case, with 525 marks in the 2021 NEET UG and SC reservation, I secured a seat at PT JNM Medical College in Raipur, a Government College, through state counseling. Regarding improvements in the admission process, there is a need for greater clarity, especially in aspects like seat matrix, which can lead to confusion during counseling it happened in 2023 CG state counseling. More transparent communication and guidelines would enhance the overall experience for applicants.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it was my parents dream and during childhood my paediatrician also inspired me to become a DR. This college has good faculties. In a subject department there is 1 HOD( head of department), 1 assistant professor,1associate professor, 2-3 demonstrator and many management workers. They are very helpful. Also there are 60 students so it is very helpful for students to understand what professor says. There is good communication between students and professors overall I would say a good bonding is there. All faculties MBBS graduated though some have done PHD also but they have good teaching experiences to make a student understand everything. There are 2 internal exams which are average to pass and one University exam in which you have to pass to go to next year. You have to give a supplementary exam if you fail the University exam or the final exam.
