Course Curriculum Overview

My course name is BTECH COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING. I got this course by qualifying KIITEE entrance exam. Our faculty is also very good and very friendly. Our exam Is of medium standard. Not very hard I would say

Our college has a tie with top companies such as tech Giant TCS, Amazon, Microsoft, Google which gives students good internship opportunities and if they work hard they can grab a good job with a high salary.

Placement Experience

Our campus placement is quite good in btech with an average package of 8lpa. But we have to gather skills to grab a good placement offer with a good amount of money. So that we can live our lives happily

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like 1400000 total in tuition fees for btech CSE and 400000 for a hostel. We can avail of study loan to pay our tuition fees from various private and government banks with very little amount of interest

Campus Life

Our campus is very huge in size and it's greenery all around. It is well-maintained and has a neat and clean campus. We have good sports facilities like a cricket stadium, football stadium, hockey stadium etc.

Admission

For BTech, a student must have passed class 12 with pcm and an aggregate of 60%. I have given KIITEE and qualified for admission and I got CSE by securing 96 percentile in the entrance exam. KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY. It is located in Bhubaneswar,india. It is India's one of the reputed colleges and also very prestigious.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
