Likes

Faculties:-Few faculties are very helpful & having good knowledge in their field.Everything is running in a systematic way.
Infrastructure here is quite good enough.You can have various opportunities.
Huge campus area .You can explore many things starting from indoor games to gym , swimming and so on .

Dislikes

Batch size:- Batch size is huge enough.Around 5000 students in a single graduating batch .

Course Curriculum Overview

First, if u have a good section, you are studying well & have good attendance, and can score good grades. Just appear in quizzes & assignments regularly for good internal & rather than scoring good marks in the term exam u will be good to go.

Internships Opportunities

Many seniors are cracking good internship opportunities. If you become equipped with skills then you can surely Excel here. High radius offers most internships & placements here I hear KIIT & HRC are having an MOU between them.

Placement Experience

Placements are okayish. The average package ranges from 6-6.5 lpa from last year . And Highest package offered in '23 is 63LPA on campus. From kiit website data around 350 companies visited this year for campus placement. But ace your coding skills from the very beginning, and equip new skills so that u can have a splendid journey.

Fees and Financial Aid

It was actually 1.75L/semester when the 22-26 batch took admission but now as I have heard fees hiked to 1.92L/semester. Rest hostel & mess fees remain the same as before. Beside the KIITEE merit scholarship, if you secure the top position(generally 1-3)in your respective branch during semester exams u will be awarded with a scholarship.

Campus Life

We have ksac(kiit student activity center) under which various types of societies function. You can explore almost all of them from 1st year. Kiit Fest is the annual cultural fest here. It's conducted generally in February-March. Campus life is good . Huge lush green campus. You will be enjoying it for sure. And yes kiit has good infrastructure.

Admission

Basically admission is through KIITEE .It's conducted 2-3 times a year .There are no Application fees for this exam. In covid period it was conducted through remote proctored mode now it's conducted in CBT mode.120 Q & 480 marks (+4 for correct answer &-1 for negative answer). If u score good marks and having 1-1000 AIR u will be getting a scholarship of 10K/month for that u have to maintain 7.5 SGPA per semester & 75% attendance in all subjects.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
