Remarks

The college had a great impact on my career journey.and the college has good library which gives us strength of solving training purposes .

Entrance Preview

Being an aspirant of engineering ..I have attempted numerous examination s but finally got qualified in TSEAMCET which is objective oriented 160 marks examination ..It is common entrance for engineering and medical and agricultural studies in telangana..

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has a perfect schedule fit for the engineering studies in all various dimensional approach .The college research prospect is well.my elective option is electronic and communication engineering..

Internships Opportunities

The internship with a company really boosts our theoretical knowledge to practical experience and it is more of a thrill than mere work .And stipend will be around 5k per month.

Placement Experience

College placements are good .. But most of the students get placed into software company irrespective of their branch.there is a need to prepare for the c,c++,java ,automachine and other programming ..And companies like TCS ,NTT DATA,BIRLA SOFT,FLIPKART,visit the college for placement drive..

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee depends upon admission criteria and for the merit students of TS EAMCET need to pay 96000 as regular fee and a 8000 miscellaneous fee. And B category seat required to pay a additional donation of 3 to 5 lakh depending upon jee mains merit..

Fees and Financial Aid

The students whose rank is below 10k in TS EAMCET will get complete fee as scholarship and other meritorious students again from TSEAMCET will get 35k as scholarship.

Exam Structure

The examination pattern is a semester pattern consists of 8 demisters for entire 4 year course.. Each semester has 2 internal examination and 1 external examination.

The curriculum is not the best i would say There are many flaws in it Although the say the syllabus keeps changing but the changes are not that much The teaching method is also old school methods U can expect an exam every 1.5 months The difficulty is also high

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
