I like clubs in our college with out clubs and friends I could not survive in campus.
Culture in campus is unique as we have senior junior bonding very high

Dislikes

Very strict administration not student friendly.
Faculty could be better some are good but most lack some aspect

Course Curriculum Overview

I took computer science and engineering because I am interested in coding and related stuff and a CSE degree in IIT has priority in applying for jobs. 1:21 faculty: student ratio, most faculties have done Ph.Ds from IITs. each semester is 4 months long.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We get companies for interns but not as high as an IIT. I am sure that we deserve a lot more number of companies. In the computer science domain, good companies approach interns like Google, Microsoft (mostly for girl students), Goldman Sachs, etc.

Placement Experience

Placements are decent but not worth an IIT as we have talented people but no one to recruit us. If in case any company sees this review consider IIT Dhanbad for recruiting. companies like Google, Amazon, Oracle, Barclays, Atlassian come to hire

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is based on family income and reservation Students having more than 5 LPA income need to pay full tution fees along with hostel and mess fees, students within the range of 1-5 LPA need to pay 1/3 of tution fees. Students with income less than 1LPA have no tution fee. The institute gives a scholarship worth 10KPA on a merit basis.

Campus Life

Life on the campus is great the best part will be friends they make your college life beautiful. Fests are good. Clubs are active and you will grow well when you are in a club. And coming availability of books ours is Asia`s 2nd largest library with plenty of books.

Admission

I appeared for JEE mains and then qualified for JEE Advanced, after securing rank through JoSAA counselling I got a seat in my college IIT Dhanbad. You can apply for mains from the NTA(National Testing Agency) website.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Beyond the Brochures: Fun Days at BIT

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Is Arka jain University right fit for you

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
