Remarks

Every next day I learned something new and different. Studies do not get monotonous due to more interesting ways things are taught to students. Practical knowledge is focused as much as a classroom.

Entrance Preview

There were 2 rounds to clear the entrance exam. 1st round was written the examination and after clearing the first one there was 2nd round which was PI round (Personal Interaction). Satyam fashion institute is an institution in which they provide lots and lots of new opportunities every day. Moreover, it is an institute that promotes women empowerment and that forced me to opt for this college. The admission process of this institute is quite simple and easy. A form is to be filled online or it can be filled after visiting college itself. After the form is registered a written exam is taken to know the student's capabilities. After that, there is a personal interview round. My experience was great. It helped me to know me well. Personal Interview built my confidence level. Overall it was a great experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

My favorite course in textile designing. Textile is a good course to pursue. The canteen can be the area in terms of infrastructure that can be improved.

Placement Experience

As I m in foundation year I have not experienced the internship yet but as I will go in the 3rd year placement opportunities will be offered by our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this college is affordable. Not so high from other fashion institutes.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel warden is very sweet. She understands us well and allows us to go out and be back to the hostel on time.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

As such, there was no difficulty level during the internal exam. Actually, the results were quite delayed.

Faculty

My experience with facilities is amazing. Any favorite is difficult to say but Mr. Ujjwal Ankur is one of my favorite faculties. Faculties have always motivated and helped us in every situation.

FDDI - Not good not bad

Likes

Events are organized by student, with student contribution and for students
The faculty is average in teaching but wonderful in terms of personality.
A lot of labs to work in and Ac class rooms.

Dislikes

Faculty does not inform things properly.
No intercollege events, or certifications or trips.
The classes are scheduled from 9 30 to 4 30 everyday.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is pretty average, students become eligible in the 8th semester. Many renowned companies come for placement like adidas, bata, da milano, mr diy, hidesign, homecentre etc Avg packages vary, as of past 2 years its 8 LPA , highest goes up to 12 to 14 LPA. Placement rate is around 90% After degree i plan to sit in placement and then go for masters.

I chose the course because I've always been interested in design, the faculty-student ratio was 1:40, and all of the members of the faculty were NIFT graduates, exams were on a semester basis and were really easy to pass.

Reality Of Joining NIFT As A Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interested in footwear design and then lifestyle goods so I opted for leather design. 8 teachers: 29 students in the leather department and 1 lab assignment and also taught by industrial designers. Good quality of education with an upgraded method which is very much practical with the trend. in 6 months I.e in 1 semester = midterm(30) + end term (30) + final jury exam (40). It is a continuous evaluation of a project in which one should present everything in the final jury exam.

Remarks:

It's going on a good direction faculties are focusing on there students to grow well in every field. It's a good college if you really wanna learn they this is the right direction for the students who are seeking there future in fashion designing.

Remarks:

FDDI is overall an awesome college either it being the academics, co-curricular or the infrastructure of the college. The teachers are quite helpful and the events help incorporate the management and speaking skills in us, which helps us gain confidence also.

Amazing experience

Remarks:

I want to say that the college itself is a good place. So there is no need to go out of the campus to hang out with friends because we have billiards, snooker, PlayStation, and many more things in college for having.
