Course Curriculum Overview
I have always been interested in studying chemistry, and this college being one of the best girls' colleges, was always my 2nd preference to get admission. All the faculty professors hold a PhD and are very helpful. From the 5th sem onwards, they guide us regarding what to do after graduation.
Placement Experience
From the 5th sem onwards students get eligible for campus placements. Companies like tcs, wipro, Deloitte, etc visit for recruitment. The average package is 3.5 lacs per year. Many get placed. I plan on continuing my studies after graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
It costs about 20k per semester, excluding examination fees. There are a lot of scholarships available, like svmcm, Kanya Shree, aikyashree, etc. There's a student credit card system policy available as well. Campus placements start from the 5th sem onwards.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs in our college, such as the debating society, Bengali literature club, Hindi club, and science club, All the classrooms have ac and projector available. The washrooms are clean and overall the cleanliness is great. There's a big playground shared with the school, along with a basketball arena, games room, yoga room, gym room and ofc a cafeteria that serves delicious veg foods
Admission
The minimum percentage in 10+2 should be 60%. With Math and physics being compulsory. The admission process was very smooth and the college office was always available to solve doubts regarding the admission procedure. Application dates are available on the college website.
