Likes

Faculty is very supportive and cooperative. Seniors are also very helpful.
Music band girls are just awesome. Many club activities are held during the semester.
Greenery in college is just boon to your eyes.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is quite old. It could be maintained.
Canteen food varieties less. The quality of food can be enhanced.
Auditorium room need maintenance. The fans of Auditorium doesn't work.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course offers a brief about the earth and this will also help me in my future upsc exam.so I chose this course. The faculty of the geography department in my college is very good. All the facilities are available to students. AC, well-managed geo labs, cooperative teachers. Teachers are highly qualified and their teaching method is also very simple and understandable. In one year there are two semesters. If you have studied well then there will be no difficulty in passing the exams. The exams are moderate.

Class Size: 57Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For one year it is around 14000 fees. It is quite affordable. However, there is some relaxation for the students of obc and EWS. They have to submit their documents. There is also a scholarship called One Child scholarship which is offered to only single child of parent students.

Campus Life

There are many fests which are held on campus. At the start of semester 1 there is a fresher party then there are department fest and the annual fest is for all the students of the college. The library is filled with all types of books which will help you in your course. There are many clubs and their activities are just superb. You should really join at least one club. There is only one girl band in the whole of Delhi University, which is in kalindi college.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is that you must have done your higher education from a specified board. The application form is available on the official website of the university which is du.ac.in forms are approximately out from April and then an entrance test near June after that results will be announced by July and your college will start in August.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Kalindi: The off Campus Star of DU !

There were several Reasons to choose Kalindi: It's an all girls college so it felt comparatively more Safer than the Co-ed ones. Also, this might be an unpopular opinion but the Boys were not there to make mischiefs so there was a good built-in environment for Study. Girls were there to manage each and everything. Either it was NCC, NSS, Sports, Societies or even Student Union, girls were incharge of literally everything and it used to feel very proud and wholesome.
