I am interested in Agriculture. Faculty-student ratio - Agriculture: Horticulture: Agricultural Engineering - 4:1:1. ICAR reaching method. 6 months per semester. There are two semesters in one year. Difficult to pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE) internships for agriculture students and Farm Machinery Training internships for Agricultural Engineering students done. Many types of agriculture diploma courses training, and internships are also done.

Placement Experience

From the fourth year, students become for campus placement. Many agriculture product companies, fertilizer companies, and pesticide companies visit the campus and many offers they give. The highest package is 400000. 50 students can get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission admission fees are 10,000 and in every semester exam semester fees are 7000. Hostel admission fees 3000 per year. It was moderately cost. Government scholarship is available for financially poor students.

Campus Life

Annual fest name 'Naihrit'. Every year annual fest is conducted. Fresher's program 'Nabarun' is also conducted to welcome the newly admitted students. In Central Library every book is available. Annual Meet Games sports are also conducted every year.

Hostel Facilities

In every room, max 3 students can stay. Everyone can get a chair, a table, a bed, a desk, etc. Electricity is always available. Meal is aslo good. In every hostel, messes are made. To registration for a hostel, permission should be taken from the administration.

Admission

Eligibility is 12th Pass, Application available on Website bckv.edu.in, Application fees 1000, Application open on August of year, Reservation is availed, Admission done by merit rank of applied candidates based on Higher Secondary Marks.

In my University they provide us to seat for the interview of those recruiting companies after 3rd semester online so this is a great opportunity for us to have an experience event because if we read for 4 year course after 1 and half year only we are getting chance to say for the interview and the companies here comes for recruitment are very renowned companies companies like Flipkart Amazon Myntra and many others TCS consultancy they always to visit for recrating so I will suggest that the placement provide by the university is good and 75 to 80% of student getting successfully placed from the university into good companies and with an average salary of 6 lpa to 9lpa

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.
