Course Curriculum Overview

There are many scope from horticulture after passing graduate from this course.you can appear in government jobs and also be eligible for higher study for any stream.it is very easy to pass in term exam to get just only 5.5 cgpa

Course Fees: INR 20600 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are available from 7th semester is known as rhwe.there we know how to interact with the farmers and make a survey about the problem which are related to horticulture and the survey is very helpful for those farmers

Placement Experience

After passing 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements, previously some reputable companies are visited and offered jobs for the students.after getting the degree most of the students prepare for government job

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per semester -10300 rupees only,which are non-refundable. You got scholarship by the state government when you get 5.5 cgpa per semester and some student get scholarship through icar which are very helpful for those students who have financial problem

Campus Life

Annual fest is naihrit and freshers and organised in central ground of bidhan chandra krisi viswavidyalaya.and annual sports are also organised by the authoritie and the students of bckv participate in agri-fest.

I chose this subject because competition for job in this sector is not so high. It's easy to get a job after complete this course. As I say earlier semester examinations are the main examination. The examination is not so hard.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate. A score above 95% in the board exam or crack the ICAR AIEEA UG Exam with a good depth of biology and chemistry for admission....Read More
