Likes

The things I like most in Kiit ,is the environment.
The level of teachers and knowledge and all are PhD holders.
Any one can access their respective tutor mentor in any issues.

Dislikes

Hostel timing is the most disliked thing.
As per hostellers the mess foods are not too good.
The most disliked things is the 75% attendance criteria.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen Btech in CSE as it is the most demanding field right now, and there is 1 teacher with over 45 students, and faculty and highly qualified no doubt of that. The examination is conducted in Mid-semester and end-semester.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 2350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Here comes the first tuition fee of 175000 and then the hostel fees depend on the students he chooses like mine is 40000 2 bed non AC and mess charges 22500 and examination fees 1000. Scholarship is on the students ranked under 1000 scholarship is provided.

Campus Life

Overall social life is a good very friendly environment and sports are not that good depending on the student's capabilities. All types of books are available in the library. And the gym, swimming pools, and other indoor activities are also there but have to pay for all of them.

Admission

The exam is the KIITEE EXAM and the minimum is 70 PERCENTILE there is no application fee FREE OF COST EXAM and application mostly opens in January. The exam is conducted in 4 phases. And if someone gets ranked under 1000 gets a scholarship.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
