Course Curriculum Overview

There was a CGPA system in the course so there were 3 exams occurring in one. The semester lasted for six months one is midterm one is end-term and the other is a practical exam these exams are tough enough and the courses are well taught by the nominated faculty members.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is given by the ICAR Student READY course which is known as the RAWE program in our college we go to villages and survey the village culture and their role in agriculture this internship is 6 months in duration.

Placement Experience

Placement occurring in our college is good highest package of placement is 10 lacs per annum by a seed production company Besides this msc degree is much preferable for that job and an average of 70% of students get a job in the placement cell.

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fee is 6775 and the hostel bill is 2500 around it so it is not too much unaffordable Course students who are eligible get scholarships from the university and students get a stipend of 25000 during ug 7th sem.

Campus Life

An annual fest called Naihrit is organized every year in January-feb and the fresher's welcome program which is known as Nabarun also organized to welcome ug juniors in our university Besides a cricket football tournament is also organised in the college.

Admission

You should know well PCB and E cutoff depends on the number you got in those subjects otherwise you can join here by giving ICAR UG exam organised by NTA there is some resevation in this collage for SC ST OBC and PwD.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
