Course Curriculum Overview

I chose it Because I am interested in nature and plants. Faculty faculty-student ratio.. 1:1..Qualification of faculty is phd. The teaching method of the faculty is very good and advanced. This is not so difficult to pass the term exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall the cost of study is average. Plenty of study materials are available in the library which can be borrowed when necessary. Tuition and semester fees are average. No significant scholarship was provided.

Campus Life

The annual fest named Naihrit is conducted in the month of December. There are plenty of available books and journals in the library which are very helpful to our study. There are different types of sports like intercostal cricket, football, intercampus football, hostel, and basketball are held during December.

Admission

Eligibility: anyone who completed higher secondary with physics, chemistry and biology as subjects. The application form is available on the university website bckv.edu.in. Anyone willing to apply can go to the notification page and click on the link to open the application form. No reservation was availed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
