I love the hostel food items very much.and also the faculty. it is one of the most memorable items for me.
I also like our all time knowledge supportive library. It is one kind of great knowledge source for us.

Dislikes

I highly disappointed with the procedure of CR selection for the whole class.

Course Curriculum Overview

Useful for future job opportunities. There are 16 departments. Our student's ratio moral less1:1 Our faculty is highly qualified and very educated. They are very helpful. Two terms occurs in each semester and two semesters occurs in one year. Difficulty is moderate.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 6775 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In each semester we require six thousand seven hundred seventy-five rupees. Now the semester fees have increased. Generally, 2000 rupees are required to study. I don't get any scholarship or any other financial assistance from this university.

Campus Life

Every year an annual fest is organised by the authority of the university. Many seminars host by professor and another PhD scholar. We get proper book support from the library and also get newspapers, others Smart class is also there. Good sports facilities are there. No social group is there

Hostel Facilities

Room facilities are moderate. Light , fan and others are available 24*7 hours. We get good quality food everyday. It is very helpful for our health. Hostel registration required 3000 rupees I don't rent any room outside the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 2500 per year

Admission

I passed the HS exam from a recognised West Bengal board in the year 2020. The cut-off for this course is 94.5% on that year. I found the application in the bckv University website. The seat should be increased in the agriculture college.

I chose this subject because competition for job in this sector is not so high. It's easy to get a job after complete this course. As I say earlier semester examinations are the main examination. The examination is not so hard.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
