The library is full of books of related to subjects and the magazines.
The infrastructure is very impressive with fully AC class room.
Hostels are good with good quality meals.

Course Curriculum Overview

It has a lot of opportunities for research and it provides a way to help all sections of people. BCKV has 3 Faculty and in agriculture faculty, there are 16 departments. Every department has a lot of renowned teachers. It has the best teachers in all faculties. It's easy to pass the semester examinations and are timely conducted.

Class Size: 132Course Fees: INR 13550 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th semester onward. Gardhah Chemicals, Bayers Crop Science, Prasari, Pradan, and so many companies require many students. On average 10 students have been required by each company. An average of 10 percent of students get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

It provides education loans for needy students. And the course fees are not so high that one student has to take lones though but it provides if someone needs. Semester fees for B.Sc is only 6775 INR it also gives scholarships for ICAR candidates.

Campus Life

Annual festivals are the most charming in BCKV especially 'SOCIAL' is a festival of joy where famous artists are brought. It has a Central Library with all the books and magazines related to courses and newspapers are also available. All AC classrooms with Digital Boards. Annual sports are organized every year. Even there is a sports quota student. It has a gymnasium for both boys.

Hostel Facilities

The faculty has a fourth-floor building containing all the AC classrooms and well well-designed laboratory. The hostel provides meals 2 times costs around 2000 INR meal quality is good. Hostel requires deposits of 5000 in advance. 3 students per room.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

It was based on marks obtained in the 10+2 board examination. According to that University published a provisional merit list and then counseling based on the merit list. 20 percent of seats are reserved for the ICAR UG examination. I think it would be better if the whole seat is filled by entrance examination.

I chose this subject because competition for job in this sector is not so high. It's easy to get a job after complete this course. As I say earlier semester examinations are the main examination. The examination is not so hard.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
