The campus is large and beautiful specially in autumn
The social is very gorgeous and all of us enjoy this

Dislikes

Every year the first year students are dangerously ragged by the seniors. I also was a victim. I hate this
Tere are too much political chaos among the students and teachers as well
The major problem is rivalry between hostels. Riots are happening, students become seriously injured due to violence between the hostels

Course Curriculum Overview

I love agriculture and want to serve my nation. Therefore I chose this course Very disappointing ratio between faculty and students Faculties are well qualified and they are very apt at teaching No time is maintained here even the exam runs between Durga Puja. The exam is not very hard

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are ruthlessly high as compared to other government Universities and the cost of study is very high Nothing I got. No scholarship, no finance, no campusing is available here for me Scholarships are delayed Every poor student should get a scholarship but rich students get this money Scholarship programs should be transparent

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is 'Naihrit'. This occurs in the months of December January or February There is a great collection of books and journals regarding every possible thing Amenities are well-equipped in the classroom Sports and extracurricular activities are very prominent here. The Facebook page 'Naihrit 2k23' is run by students

Hostel Facilities

Three beds and three table- chairs are only provided in a room Very low meal quality and menu is very disappointing here The hostel is easy affordable and the registration process is displayed in the website 'bckv.edu.in' No I haven't rented any pg

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

The eligibility is the marks obtained in the higher secondary exams under the WB Board. The application form is available on the university website. The admission fees and dates are also declared in the application form Reservation benifits are available and the details are in 'admission section' on the website The admission process should be transparent. The online admission process is best suited for neat and clean admission

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
