Very ever green environment hostel are very good
Many types of activities are done by the hosteler like Hostel tour year tour etc
All ug students are love in hostel and many types of activities are done here

Dislikes

The condition of hostel are not so good bathroom of the hostel is in poor condition
In boys hostel gate there are no security gard is provided
In the classroom the number of projector is less

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I love to study horticultural science. There are three faculties one is horticulture one is agriculture and one is agricultural engineering. Professors are well-educated and well-experienced. There are two types of exams one is end term and one is mid-term.

Class Size: 31Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In BCKV, we have a 4-year program. As it is a government institution, we have to pay approximately 7000 per semester and for those who live in the hostel another mess bill is included. All types of scholarships like the Swami Vivekananda scholarship are approved here.

Campus Life

In our university, lots of programs occur name of the annual fest is NAIREET, name of the fresher's programme is NABARUN. In BCKV there is a central library which is very big lots of books are available here. Smart classrooms are available here AC Smart boards are available. Many extracurricular activities are here like agreefest, agreements, etc.

Admission

In BCKV there are two addmission processes one is a class 12 examination and one is through the Indian Council of Agricultural Research exam. The application form is released on the BCKV Web site. After releasing the 12th result. There are many reservation seats like SC, ST, and OBC. Sports quota and hill quota are there. The admission process is very smooth.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
