Entrance Preview

Entrance exam consists of several categories of questions like reasoning, general knowledge creative ability, and quantitative ability. Reason for opting this college is the faculty and academics. There is an entrance exam conducted at the beginning and according to merit selection is being done after it personal interview session is conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview

My degree is b.des and iam dealing with lifestyle and accessories. It cover work on various materials like wood, wrought iron, leather, jewellery etc. Improvement covers some machines which need to install in colleges for basic work.

Placement Experience

Placement and internship are good. As i am in 3rd year I.e. 6th sem so I've not been a part of any placement or internship activity

College Events

Their is one event that is organized annually in college that is Vista a fashion show

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is sixty-five thousand per semester. As it is semi government college so fees is quite comfortable.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel accommodation consists of 8 sharing per room and four times meal is being provided in the mess for hosteliers per day.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Divi Sukhija a proud alumni of our college who got Gold medal in lifestyle and accessories department.

Exam Structure

Yes we get result on time and internal examinations are at medium difficulty level but to good to check our level of grasping academics.

Faculty

Faculties are splendid and their knowledge is much more to it. Vandana Jaglan ma'am and Ujjwal sir is my personal favourite.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course cuz the curriculum includea almost everything. Nothing could ever prepare someone for real world applications until unless you step out in the real world itself. The rush before the exams. I wish the teachers would manage it better. The first semester was horrible due to this. The end term exams start almost after a month of mid terms which makes the semester end exam quite difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In college, we used to get many facilities which are necessary for a student. In every way, our school manager sir and other teachers used to cooperate very well so that the children do not face any problem. The children liked their style of teaching very much. They used to come to the class at an accurate timing of their study time and used to put up questions etc. to the children one by one.

Amity is not as bad as you might think.

Placement Experience:

From the third year you're eligible for campus placement. The placement is not that great as of now since asft is pretty new and they're still fetching companies but there are options. The campus placement advisors are pretty great and helpful. And even if you don't find campus placement, there are a lot of openings now for the same since fashion designing has become pretty popular since the last few years

Reality Of Joining NIFT As A Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interested in footwear design and then lifestyle goods so I opted for leather design. 8 teachers: 29 students in the leather department and 1 lab assignment and also taught by industrial designers. Good quality of education with an upgraded method which is very much practical with the trend. in 6 months I.e in 1 semester = midterm(30) + end term (30) + final jury exam (40). It is a continuous evaluation of a project in which one should present everything in the final jury exam.
