Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to pursue computer science and engineering. The faculties are good and are very helpful. They also provide great mentorship. Good student ratio. The exams are of medium level and can be scored well if studied nicely.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like High Radius offers internship to college students. They give certain tasks which are for further educational growth. They give pre-placement offers to the eight hundred students who perform well in the internship.

Placement Experience

The placement is decent in our college. The companies start visiting the campus during the 7th semester. Companies such as Deloitte, TATA, Cognizant, Amazon, Yugabyte, etc. visit during the placement drive. Almost all the students get placed and get an average package of 8 lpa. I planned for an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure has a total of 20 lakh rupees. The total course fee when I joined was 1.75 lakh but now it has risen to 1.95 lakh per year. It is costly. There is a scholarship for those merit students who get a rank of under 500 in KIITEEE examination. The scholarship is Rs 10,000 per month for four years but you have to maintain a cgpa of 7.5.

Campus Life

The campus life at KIIT is very good. There is Kiit carnival during the month of December- January. The library is very big and almost all types of books are available. The sports facilities are also excellent and all types of grounds are available such as football, rugby cricket ground. All types of societies are available like Ncc, Nss, Robotics Society, and Mlsa GFG.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are very good. The hostel warden is also polite and good in behaviour. The two-bedroom has two tables, two wardrobes, two almirahs and has one fan and two tube lights. The mess food is also good not that bad. The registration process for a hostel is during the admission time.

Hostel Fee: INR 125000 per year

Admission

Admission for this course is through Online or offline examination through KIITEEE. The application form will be available on the Kiit website during the admission time. No application fees. The admission test starts from the month of February. The examination would be better if conducted through offline mode.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.

Navigating KIIT : a comprehensive review of facilities and experiences
