Likes

Teachers are very supportive and friendly.
Environment of this college is very nice.
Placements are also good enough average package is 4.5lpa

Dislikes

There is no campus life because of 7 acres campus
There is no outdoor activities only indoor games available
There is 75 percent attendance compulsory

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Information Technology because it is one of the futuristic branches and also I didn't get Computer Science Engineering. In my class of 65 students almost equal number of girls and boys. Almost all faculty are Ph.D. holder in their field.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 170210 per year

Internships Opportunities

I didn't hear much about internships in this college but the students who are going for internships are always supported by teachers. There are various projects which help students to know more about various things.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. Visited last year and 2 students got a 17.5LPA package. And almost 90 students placed last year. I will prepare for Gate after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am an OMS candidate So I paid the full fee which is 170210 and I will not get any of scholarship. Here are facilities available for education load also which help me a lot. I am a first-year student here So I don't know much about placements.

Campus Life

The annual fest is generally conducted during the month of February there are various types of books and journals in the library the classroom has cushioned seats projectors and also computers in some labs sports competitions are also conducted there are various clubs in the college.

Admission

I got it in cap round 1 through Jee mains. For the Application form, there is a counter where you find the admission process is very lengthy and you need a minimum of 45 percent in the 10+2 exam for admission to this college.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
