There is hardly any coding culture in kiit.
One demerit of kiit is that kiit takes a lot number of students.
Fees structure is quite high and the average LPA is quite low.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am into a B.tech course in information technology. The faculty are excellent in my view. There are a large number of faculties. Many of the faculties are from renowned universities such as Jadavpur University, IITs, etc. Mid-semester exams are 1 month after the start of the semester and the end semester after four months. It is not that hard to pass an examination.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

many companies like Dolite, pwc, High Radius, Dell, Oyo, Nutanix, KPMG, and a lot more offer internships at kiit. Internships in KIIT are stipends of about 14000 to 17000. We just need to maintain a good grade of 8.5+ CGPA in all semesters.

Placement Experience

At the end of 6 th semester students become eligible for the placements. Many companies such as Deloitte, Gigabyte, etc. have visited. The average package is around 6 lakh per annum. 95+ students get placed in companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

During our time the cost of studies is quite high which is 175000 per semester. But now the fee structure has hiked up to 2 lakh per semester. The college offers scholarships to the top 100 scorers in KIITEE entrance.

Campus Life

Kiit organizes great fests. There are a lot of book availability and journals in the library. We can reach out to the Central Library to get a better study environment. All classrooms have centralized ACs. Kiit offers a great opportunity for sports and extra-extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

Kiit offers a lot variety of rooms from general rooms to premium services. Food quality is decent. The registration process is the same as the registration process for Institutional fees. Mess fees are quite good.

Admission

I got into KIIT University through the KIITEE entrance exam. I found the application form on the website and no fees to apply for the KITEE entrance exam. At my time KIITEE entrance exams were taken in 5 phases. So it gave us a lot of chances to clear the cutoff and get our favorite branch.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
