Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty good( including extra curricular activities). The faculty at kiit is just awesome as they are phd and graduates from top colleges in india and they teach very well. The term exams are conducted every six months and the sem is in between. You can clearly clear the exams if you study just a month before the exams.

Internships Opportunities

Delloite, Dell, High Radius, etc. hire students as interns. The stipend depends totally on your skills like how you are at coding and how you clear your interviews. But if you work hard you are all good to get a good stipend. Cheers:)

Placement Experience

The placement scenario at kiit is pretty good. Top-tier companies come here for placement. Just it depends on your skills and whether you are ready to get a good package. The companies visit us in the 6th semester. Almost 90% of the students get placed at kiit. I am thinking of going for higher education after KY btech

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure at kiit is a bit high. But comparing it with the opportunities they provide, it is perfectly okay. The total fees at kiit for me is 1400000(2022-2026) batch. Currently, I'm in my 2nd year, so I'm not into any internship on campus because I am busy with my coding.

Campus Life

The best part about kiit is its campus. The campus is quite vast and beautiful. Recently in Feb 10 days, the carnival was held which was a blast. The Central Library at kiit is no less than heaven. The societies at kiit are quite active and are literally the best.

Admission

If you want to apply for any course at kiit university, Bhubaneswar, you basically have to appear for its entrance exam kiitee. You are eligible for this exam if you have 55% in the board exam. You can simply apply for this entrance and the application form is free of cost. You can find the application form on kiit's official website. The level of the entrance exam is moderate.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
