Course Curriculum Overview

This course is well aurganised and well structured. Faculty members are very friendly. The help on every step. They also provide mentor system. 1 mentor/40 students. 90% faculty members are from top IIT . Many of them from Jadavpur also.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Atlasian , Highradias and many more companies offered for internship. They give stipend also from 10 - 80 k per month. The persentage of getting internship here is very easy. Kiit provide all of these.

Placement Experience

From 6th sem students are eligible for placement. Amazon, Tcs, Wipro, Tata Motors, Tvs Atlasion , Cozignant and many more companies visit our campus every year. Last year highest package was 63 lakh and average is 8 lakh . More than 90% students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure change after 3-4 years.. no price hike for admitted students. Only for new admission. But hostel increase for everyone. And kiit provide internship in 3rd year. You can get education loan easily hear.

Campus Life

KIIT FEST is the main thing. It happens in starting in February. Last year in kiit 25th anniversary it celebrated for more than 15 days and end with star night. Sunidhi Chouhan came this year. Classrooms are also very good with AC system.

Hostel Facilities

You can opt for Ac/Non-Ac hostel. For Ac hostel it is 50k/sem and for non ac hostel it is 28k/sem. Meal quality is also good. Registration process is very easy and it is affordable too. You can also rent a flat or pg.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

Admission through KIITEE Exam conducted by KIIT UNIVERSITY, Application from is available in Kiit.ac.in Application Start from 20th December . Application process continue till June - July. Reservation benifits are also available specially for girls.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
