Course Curriculum Overview

I am in the CSE branch. I chose this course because of always had a keen interest in the field of computer science and software development. Faculty members are all overall good with over 90% of them having phd. The teaching, method is also good. If students focus in their class they can very well pass the term examination.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of companies that offer internship opportunities. Like high highradius etc. having a good stipend. Projects can also be chosen by the candidates as per their likes and interests. Internship opportunities are given from the 6th sem itself.

Placement Experience

The university offers 100% placement to students. Students are eligible after the 7th sem for placements. Different companies visit the campus like Accenture, Gigabyte, etc. which provide a good package to the students. The highest placement up to now is 64 lpa and the average is 12 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are taken per semester. The university also offers scholarships to those who rank well in the entrance examination. There is also an option for an education loan. The university also offers an intership with a good stipend.

The campus life is overall great. KIIT Fest is organized every year at the end of the year which has numerous events and lots of fun things to do. The university's central library has numerous books according to one's needs. There are a lot of sports and fitness opportunities in the university as it provides lots of chances in this field. There are also college societies in which one can take part according to their interests.

Admission

The admission was done through the university entrance exam known as KIITEE. It had minimum criteria for all respective desired courses. The application form can be found at the college site of KIIT and the application form is free of cost. The admission process is good overall

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
