Likes

The environment here u really can enjoy ur time here by making a lot of friends and hang out with them.
Honest faculties and wardens not everyone but some are very great.
A lot of societies that we can join and interact in new and different fields.

Dislikes

The mess food is not very great the food is kind off average for some particular days.
The yearly expense of the institute which is not much affordable.
Some subjects that we are being taught doesn't even make sense or neither we need them in our field in future.

Course Curriculum Overview

Chose CSE due to the heavy placement opportunities compared to other branches we have mid sem exam after a month of starting the sem and a second sem exam around two months and a lot of the faculties around here are great and in the second year we are allowed to choose our own faculty.

A lot of companies here offer internships at the beginning of the year itself such as Google Gigabyte and it becomes as they provide you with your college email ID which you get notified for societies and internship programs regularly.

Placement Experience

Campus placement here is more than decent as the average package here is 7lpa looking at the number of students being 6000 each year and a varities of companies recruit students every year including big companies like Google and Microsoft.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here are a bit expensive as they charge around 20 lahks for 4 years and there are actually a good amount of opportunities for an internship as you will be informed through the mail for any competition, internship, or for joining any society and job placement is also more than decent as the average package is here around 7 lpa looking at the number of students being 6000.

Campus Life

The environment here is great, here you can join a number of societies according to your needs and on-campus fests are been conducted occasionally and even sometimes live concerts and a lot of options for joining in sports events both indoor and outdoor.

Admission

Had taken the Jee exam and have applied for admission to KIIT by Jee marks only for cse branch, they needed a cutoff of 90 percentile and for IT it was 85 percentile they also asked for my board results in +2 and 10th and can't confirm about their cutoff.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
