Likes

College is autonomus therfore exam is held within the college .No external exam centres are there.
College is equipped with auditoriums for the fests.
Multiple computer Labs and labortaries are also present.

Dislikes

College has good infrastructure but campus is bit short.

Course curriculum and Teaching plan are pre-planned and taught according to it. Faculties are also cooperative. College is Autonomous therefore Exams and Terms are Held in College only. In each class, there is about 70-75 students.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 87005 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students get internships in the 7-8 sem. Mahindra and TCS are some of the companies that provide internships to college students. The college also helped in this procedure. The internship comprised 6 months. The college also supports students' projects and models.

Placement Experience

From 5-6 Sem, students became eligible for campus placements. Various recruiters and companies like TCS, Accenture, Persistent, and capgemini visited the college and gave various offers to the students according to their skills. 23 lakhs was the highest package in the Last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure varies according to the caste/category of the student. Tuition Fee waiver scheme (TFWS) is also present. College helps in filling out the scholarship forms. Campus placements and internships are provided by the college in the final year.

Campus Life

The annual fest is held every year named ANTARAGNI. Most often it is conducted in February. Tech fests are held regularly it varies according to the department. The library is available in college and is well-equipped with books and journals. Projectors and Labs are also available. Forums are there for organizing festivals and activities/competitions.

Hostel Facilities

A hostel is available beside the college. It is managed by the college only. Registration starts during the CAP Admission process. Offline application forms are available on college desks. Mess is available in the hostel. The quality of the meal is also good.

Admission

Eligibility:- MHTCET HSC-PCM. For application forms and fees contact colleges Before the CAP admission process starts. The college has minority seats for Hindi minority students. Proof is needed for availing these seats i.e. Mother tongue should be Hindi and it should be on your HSC TC (Leaving Certificate).

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
