Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology- Good Or Bad?

I chose this course because I wanted to study Engineering from the start. The Faculty: Ratio is 1:80. The faculties are highly qualified and are helpful throughout your learning process. Their teaching method is seamless. One Semester spans about 4 months and a couple of weeks, and the term exams are very timely. Passing the exams can be a little difficult in some particular subjects, but if you have an interest, no one can stop you.

There are many companies that offer Internships at KIIT and they offer various roles with a really good stipend. The stipend can range from 10K per month to 1.5L per month. Students have published research papers and have done many projects to achieve these feats, and the T & P Cell also works really hard to help you with this.

The students are eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Many companies visit the campus for placements, out of which Amazon, Deloitte, Capgemini, Wipro, and Accenture are some major names. The highest package this year was 62 LPA and the average package was 8.5 LPA. 100 percent of students are guaranteed placements here. My plans after getting the degree are to get a good-paying job and settle down.

As this is a private college, the fees can be considered very high according to Indian standards. The fees have increased over the past few years. The cost to study here can range from 17 Lakh to 22 Lakhs for 4 years.

The annual fest here is called KIITFEST and there is a tech fest here also, both of which are conducted usually in the month of February. The library here is nothing less than a mall, with thousands of books and a great environment to study. The classrooms are air-conditioned. You can find each and every sport here which you can think of. There are many clubs and societies run by students, which carry out recruitment drives every year.

The hostel room can be AC or non-AC and you are charged accordingly. In a 3 bedded AC room, for instance, you have 3 beds, 3 tables, 3 chairs and 3 wardrobes. After paying Tuition fees, you are asked if you want to avail of Hostel facilities and the staff will help you. The affordability of the hostel is okay.

The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech program is a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. The admission process is smooth and if you have a problem, it gets fixed as soon as possible.
