Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty: The Faculty at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is very good. The teachers are from top IITs, NITs, and IITs. Overall the faculty is very experienced and very helpful.KIIT has a healthy student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1, with 1800 faculty members offering a rigorous curriculum and access to varied learning opportunities and hands-on research.

Class Size: 84Course Fees: INR 1400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

At the end of the first year, students undergo the 2-month summer internship program in a reputed corporate house where they work on a live project, under the active guidance of two mentors: Corporate and Faculty.

Placement Experience

KIIT Placements 2023 are now concluded. KIIT's average package stood at INR 8.5 Lakhs whereas KIIT's highest package stood at INR 62 LPA. More than 3800 job offers were made by 300+ recruiters. 62+ new recruiters also participated in KIIT Placements 2023.

Fees and Financial Aid

This scholarship scheme is for the first position holder in the semester examination for different schools under the university for 6 months. The amount awarded varies from INR 5000-INR 10,000 per month. Various types of Scholarships have been instituted by the University for encouraging meritorious students. The quantum of scholarship and period of scholarship is subject to change from time to time. Different scholarships, stipends, and fee relaxations are available at KIIT Deemed University.

Admission

For UG and PG course admissions at KIIT, candidates are required to appear for the KIITEE examination and participate in the counseling for final seat allotments. KIITEE is conducted by KIIT University for admission to B. Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, and other UG and PG courses.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
