Course Curriculum Overview

To understand the core concepts of Information Technology. The student-to-faculty ratio of the college is 12:1 with over 1800 faculty members. Most of the faculty is highly educated and consists of several IIT and NIT graduates who have done extensive research work in their respective fields. If a student is attentive in class and follows the class notes properly, then the exams are very easy to clear.

Placement Experience

The highest package offered on our campus was 60 LPA. Almost 95% of the students get placed every placement season. My plans after BTech is to pursue higher education at some university in England and get a degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of 2023, a total of Rs 12,00,000 lakhs will be charged for a period of 4 years and this also includes the hostel and mess facility. For other programs, the cost varies every new academic year. For the topper of the KIITEE entrance, there is the KIITEE merit scholarship which aims to provide free education for a period of 4 years. Other scholarship options include- Pradyuman Bal Memorial Scholarship, KIIT Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarship.

Campus Life

The fest is conducted mostly towards the end of the year. Books are available mostly in the Central Library or the library on Campus 15. All classrooms are fully equipped with AC and have a seating capacity of more than 50 students.

Hostel Facilities

Two beds, Two tables,2 bedsheets, a bucket, a blanket, and some other necessities for a comfortable stay at the hostel. The meals vary from veg to non-veg and there is a special chicken biryani on Fridays. I eventually moved out to a PG in my 3rd year that is very close to my college.

Hostel Fee: INR 125000 per year

Admission

Candidate must have a minimum age of 17 years and must have passed 10+2 in a regular full-time mode. Candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate mark of 60% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to be eligible. The application form is available on the official website and the examination schedule is also released well in advance to give aspirants ample amount of time to prepare for the KIITEE entrance examination. Some emphasis on the extracurricular activities and talents of the aspirant must also be taken into consideration.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
