The infrastructure is very good at kiit. The classes are very hi tech as well as the teachers are very supportive and good in behaviour

Dislikes

We can say the fees is high that is the one thing I don't like about kiit
One more thing is that the temperature of bhubaneswar is usually very high as well as humidity is also very high

The college provides the best courses and study materials and provides internship opportunities to gain knowledge. I love the learning process here and how everyone learns something new from each other. The curriculum is relevant, and it helps with industrial work.

90% plus campus placements achieved till date (Approx 3000 students got offers from the campus with around 2650 single offers & 1200 multiple offers) 4500 plus offers generated by 350 plus companies till date (120 plus NEW companies) 1100 students placed in “Dream Companies” with an Average CTC of 8.50 LPA plus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The different disciplines at the university include Engineering, Management, Law, and Education. KIIT University B. Tech fees are INR 14.75 Lakhs. It is the total fee for the course and includes admission fees, counseling charges, and charges for laptops and uniforms.

Hostel Facilities

All the hostels have attached canteens serving good quality Indian and Continental foods. A dedicated international hostel accommodates foreign students. Each hostel has a 24-hour reading room and facility for indoor and outdoor games.

Kiitee is the exam that you have to clear for taking admission to kiit. Cse cut-off is around the 80 percentile.KIITEE (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam) is a university-level entrance examination organized by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT). It is organized for providing admissions in UG & PG engineering courses including BBA/BCA and MCA offered by this university.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
