Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I like playing with the magic of chemicals and that boosts my interest in chemistry. Here all the faculty members are very helpful and always give their best to make students understand. Exams are also conducted timely as the syllabus is covered on time.
Internships Opportunities
Private companies like pharmaceutical companies give internship opportunities and they come very hard. Some students also join different IITs and IISCs which offer internship programs and give a good amount of around INR 2000 per week which is fair enough.
Placement Experience
Some pharmaceutical companies also come with vacancies for the chemistry student completing BSc. or MSc. They recruit through their interviews. And the jobs can easily give you a 20,000-25,000 per month salary. If you can not get a placement you can opt for preparation of csir-net and gate exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Talking about fee structure, the course charges INR 10050 [as of 2022-23] per year which I guess is affordable. During this course, you can apply for a scholarship under National Scholarship Scheme or you can get benefits from your respective state scholarship schemes.
Campus Life
The university comprises a good facility for sports, a library, and smart classrooms. Here so many social activities are organised by different social groups, NSS, and NCC members. It also has a good record against conducting fests like food fests, annual student fests etc.
Admission
This being a central university, the admission is done on the basis of the mark fetched in the CUET exam conducted every year by the NTA (National testing agency). If you want to join the bachelor's program you need to appear for the CUET-UG exam and want to join master's program then you have to go through the CUET-PG exam. You can apply for the exam from the official website of NTA which generally releases the exam notification between April-June every year. And after getting a scorecard for the CUET exam, you can then apply to this college individually. And you can apply on the college Samarth portal by paying some application fee[in 2022 it was INR 300].
