Course Curriculum Overview

I just wanted to the make my career in computer science . As Pune is near to Kalyan (Mumbai), Parent didn't wanted me to go far away from home so I opted for this college. This is the second most reason to take admission in this college. After your 3rd semester you get to make mini project for each subject . If your project is good you might get funding fromt hem college. You have your mid-terms in October, end -sem in December. For next sem mid term in April and end sem May.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 3250000 per year

Placement Experience

Firstly you should not haveany backlogs to appy for placements. There are some good companies that do visit this college for placement. But due to high intake in admission competition is very high. Last year Amazon visited the campus and offer 51.2lpa pakage which was the highest pakage of the year. My plan afte getting degree is to opt for master so i am planning to get admission in USA

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees per year is 3.2lakh so I instalment before the college starts and then 2nd one after 90 days There are many types of scholarship provided in the college you may get any of them if you get good marks

Campus Life

In the starting of the year You get to attend event which is R.I.D.E. (Research, Innovation, Developement, Entreprenureship). There are many cultural and technical fest happing every year. The most highlighting Fest which AAROHAN the biggest fest of Pune. For my course, all the technical provision made by college are good but some of them are not well equipped. They are too old. College do support and fund for the extracarricular actitvites.

Hostel Facilities

Sorry I don't live in there hostel so I can't give any details review about it ,but the as per the word of mouth the review are not very good so as I prefer to take a PG or flat there are many of them near the college

Admission

90 percentile was the eligibility criteria Application form I filled from the site The admission process was very smooth You can will not have any kind ko difficulty in the admission process it's very smooth

Faculty

professional expertise is one of the strong areas in which this college aims . Talking about the course structure, Will be four Profession field required course. 1 Profession elective course which can be selected by students to encourage their choice of learning and interest and 2 to 3 university common courses such as Peace, Yoga, providing credits for them too in order to make students engage in other activites apart from curriculam

Interview Experience

No there was no such Group discussion, Interview or Written Test for taking admission but If you are uable to get good mark in Jee mains or Mhtcet , you have an option to give the Own entrance test. Comparing with the other exams it is easier. See as I recevied me Jee mains result i had quickly filled the form and My admission was approved in the 1st round it self

Night Life

I don't live in MIT-WPU's hostel. So I can't tell about it much but as per my friends the review the hostel is not good. The student over do stupid thing which may lead to some police cases. The campus is safe for the student and also the hostel of girls is within the campus only.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

Easy Money

Likes

Rhythm. It’s a cultural fest that this college hosts and it is the only time of the year where there’s a vast majority of events you could participate in.
TECHITHON. It’s a Tech fest that this college hosts and it has tech events which encourages students to grow and learn more as this aligns with our course.
Friends. The last and only good thing about this college I’d say are the friends I’ve made across the years.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. I’m not really a fan of the infrastructure that is being provided by this college.
Campus. The campus has many such areas that cannot be accessed by students and god knows for what reason.
Stupid Rules. One stupid rule i can think of is that students are not allowed to use their cell phones in the campus nor can the students use their headphones without being on their phones despite it being an Engineering college this makes no sense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course currently is in high demand and this is the course which offers the highest percentage of placements. Computer Engineering is the fundamental course one could pursue if they want to get into technology. We currently have 2 Internal Exams in each semester which prepares us well for the semester.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

MIT-WPU: Nurturing Talent and Innovation

During my research for chosing my college I got to know MIT WPU is better in many ways from the other college i was getting addmision in . First, The fees of MIT WPU were less compare to KJ Somaya Mumbai , Second I got to know from seniors that MIT has well qualified faculty members and also its very diciplined college , Third The Placements of MIT WPU were having a good record than other colleges . Yes I got rejected in many colleges The main reason behind them was my percentile . I got 91 percentile in my MHTCET and the colleges i filled form were closing at 97-98 percentile . So i was not able to make into them The Admmision process of MIT WPU is quite simple . You have to fill the form from there official website there they ask each and every detail like your percentile in different exams and all . Then if you fit in there criteria you get a official mail that you have been selected for the specific course . Pune's Best Private College

I have applied to many collges and some colleges where i have got confirmed admission is G.H. Raisoni Jalgaon, KIIT (bhubhaneshwar), Pessat(bangalore). I choose MIT WPU over other colleges because of the knowledge which i would gain here. The placemnet here is quite good. I have got a lot of experience here. The training sessions here are quite nice which re not in other colleges. Also there is lot of oppurtunites for students here. Some colleges such as RVCE and DSCE in bangalore have rejected me because i couldn't clear their cutoff Admission in my college is on the basis of JEE results and MHT-CET results. The college is not mentioned in CET cap rounds as the students have to apple separately for the college through its website. Cutoff for JEE C.S.E is 91 percentile while for MHT-CET is 94 percentile...Read More
