Mountains and nature here is only this that I liked.
Places near it where we can visit to chill out mood like dal lake.
Kawa is drink here which you can enjoy by roaming outside.

Dislikes

People here worst there mindset there way of thinking.
Anti -nationlist living here there mindset which are corrupt.
Kashmiri separating them from India considering themselves as separate.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm interested in the communication field that's why I opt for this course. The faculty-student ratio is quite good, you will get different faculty for the same course, and different teachers are teaching in different branches. Almost all faculty here are Ph.D. holders from IITs there are doing research on various filed they are keen to teach you and want you to learn new things and explore the world. Every month you will have an exam after mid-term you have to give end term.

Internships Opportunities

Samsung offered the post of R&D BPCL as a junior engineer, ONGC junior engineer, Some tech companies offered the post of HR, coders, buggers, Ethical hackers and many some had made projects of standing wheelchairs for handicapped using lifters.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester onwards Samsung, BPCL, ONGC, BEL, and many other PSUs along with some tech giants companies. The highest package is 45 lakh and avg is 8 LPA. Almost everyone who sits for placement gets placed here i.e. 92-95% I will go to IMA and join the Indian army as a lieutenant that's what I'm aiming for.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like every semester you have to pay about 120000 .there is no frequent rise in fees. You can apply for ONGC NSP and various scholarships here, one student got a stipend from Amazon after that he got an internship there.

Campus Life

Techvaganza is the annual tech fest here it is conducted in the month of May or June. You will get a book related to the course available here. AC blowers smart board. Football cricket badminton and basketball ground is here. You have various clubs for coding, raj bhasha cell and etc.

Hostel Facilities

Beds fan tube light that's it in the hostel. The menu is good looking on paper only the quality they prepare is the worst. The hostel is affordable its registration is done along with college registration. It is available nearby to the campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 96000 per year

Admission

Jee mains happen twice a year (from now onwards) the first session at the end of January and the second in April last week usually (dates may vary). You can find the application form at the nta official site or just type nta jee. the fee is approx 650 per session. Having reservations helps you in getting a better college with a low percentile as compared to others but not much.

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

There are in campus placements in our university. Students become eligible for the same from 7th semester. Companies like IBM, AMAZON, WIPRO, INFOSYS, DELOITTE, CGEGG, HONDA, NTPC, ACCENTURE are the top recruiters. The highest package was of 36.5 LPA and the average is 11.5LPA in the year 2023. Placement Experience:

Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Nit Srinagar the heaven

Admission:

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

I got this college on the basis of councellign held after jee main result before this i got Natinal institue of technology Megalya i left that beacuse of non permanent hostel facility and bad reviews from the seniors and the distance from mine hoemtown sikar(Rajasthan) even many good engineerig colleges was there in mine list but because of mine less marks in jee main and advance i am unable to get them (example : nit silchar, nit Wrangle, nit Trichy etc) but over all mine college was good according to Enviroment conditions and other parameters and the admission process was very smooth just you have to verify your documents ....Read More

As we all know that the B.Tech course is of four years and divided into eight semesters. It is offereed across 8 different specialisations including /cse, /ee, ECE, MEC, META, CIVIL, IT /cHE . The course admission is done on the basis of candidate's performance in JEE Main followed by JOSSA counselling/CSAB counselling. The allotment is donw on the basis of merit score in Je/e Main. The Eligibility Criteria is that the candiddate must qualify JEE Main and score above 75% marks in 12th.
