Faculty members are very good and supportive
Campus life is great and the university has a brilliant infrastructure
Placement record is decent and one can achieve super dream offers if worked hard

Dislikes

The rules are strict for freshers like the check-in time is 7, formals (till freshers party), not leaving hostel without permission (till freshers).
Advertisement: 5 star hostel facilities (okay these are my own words) Reality: If you are not paying about 2 Lakhs per yer for the A/C hostels, it is very likely that you'll cry when you see your hostel rooms...... probably vomit if you are put in on
Faculty from NITs and IITs. Reality: This is very true. But the the thing that the college authorities should understand before hiring these faculty members is that, the fact that they are NITians and IITians only shows that they are good students...

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because I had developed an interest in engineering since my childhood and I was very passionate about it. The faculty members of my college are very good and supportive. There are two exams in a semester. The first one is Mid-semester which is of 20 marks and is held in the middle of the semester. The other is the End semester exams which are held at the end of each semester and are of 50 marks. The rest 30 marks include internal class tests and projects.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a fee hike policy of 10% each year for new admissions. There is no relaxation of fees based on the category but you can get a scholarship if you ace the semester examinations or if you get <500 rank in KIITEE however some states give scholarships to the students like Bihar. So, you can try that too.

Campus Life

Life at KIIT is more than just lectures and study sessions. Students get plenty of excuses to take a well-earned break from books. Our packed calendar of events and activities means a new friend is never far away. The library is good, all books are available.

Hostel Facilities

There are separate hostels for boys and girls with round-the-clock wireless internet and intranet connectivity. About 30% of the hostel rooms are air-conditioned. All the hostels have attached canteens serving good quality Indian and Continental foods. A dedicated international hostel accommodates foreign students. Each hostel has a 24-hour reading room and facility for indoor and outdoor games.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

Eligibility for the course: Should have passed class 12th from any recognized board. Should be of PCM(Physics Chemistry Maths) stream and should have scored at least 60% aggregate in these subjects in 12.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
