Course Curriculum Overview

The Faculty members here at KIIT are all Ph.D. holders and they also pay special attention to each and every student in the class. We have also been assigned a mentor who is ready to solve our campus and hostel problems 24/7. I don't know about the exact student-faculty ratio but it is fine enough for us to learn and understand each and every section of our cause.

Internships Opportunities

Kiit has a special summer internship program where most of the students get paid internships as a training program. Moreover, it has a special tie-up with IIT Bhubaneshwar for some internship programs.

Placement Experience

Students from 3 rd year onward can apply for the campus as well as noncampers placements. The highest placement of KIIT this year is 62 lpa while avg package is 8.5 lpa. Our college has had a 100 percent placement record for the last 10 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee of Kiit for this year is 192000 per semester while it was 175000 last year. So it's a clear 18k hike in tuition fees. There is an additional one-time deposit of 75000 for a laptop and a university coat.

Campus Life

There is a central library in our college which is one of the best libraries in the country. It has over 10 lakh books. You can check its furniture and its size on Google. The cost of books is included in the tuition fees all the books we get are new and in the best condition possible.

Hostel Facilities

In KIIT there are many types of hostels available like 3 bedded AC, 2 bedded AC, 2 bedded AC premium, Bedded AC premium, 3 bedded non AC, 2 bedded non AC. The food here in mess is much better than in any other college. I didn't expect we'll get this kind of food here. The hostel staff here is very.

Hostel Fee: INR 56000 per year

Admission

I got admission to KIIT through the KIITEE exam which was not so hard paper. People who score the top thousand also get a scholarship worth 10000 per month. Even people who top each semester also get their tuition fees refunded for the next semester as a scholarship. Anyone who has more than 60 marks in PCM subjects separately can apply for KIITEE Exam.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
