Likes

The Environment and facilities of kiit that they provide to their students.
The infrastructure and guidance of faculty.Also they have provided students a mentor for them..if they have any difficulty about anything,they will help us.
Courses are also good.The structure of courses are also great.

Dislikes

Sometimes hostels are very far away from class campus
Mess food is not much good in some hostel.
Intime of hostels upto 2nd year is very less

Course Curriculum Overview

Btech was my aim. The faculty is overall good. As we have to study on our own. Approximately all teachers are highly qualified. Exams were taken at times like 3-4 quizzes, 1 midterm, and 1 final exam. Exams were easy. We can easily pass if we concentrate only on class. We don't have to study much for college exams after class.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Mainly High Radius provides opportunities for internships to 3rd-year students in the 6th semester. I don't know about the stipend they provide now. You have to make some excellent projects for that. otherwise, they will not select you.

Placement Experience

At the end of 3rd year i.e. 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited like Deloitte, JP Morgan, Infosys, Accenture, High Radius, etc. The highest package is cse department is 52 lpa and the average package is 6.5 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is approximately 90%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for btech is 175000 per semester and there are a total of 8 semesters i.e.4 years. Yes, they will provide a scholarship if you will score under 1000 rank in the entrance exam of KIIT. I just got into 3rd year so I don't get a job now. I don't know about financial assistance.

Campus Life

Tech fest are conducted continuously but annual fest not a single one after I have taken admission maybe because of lockdown. As before the lockdown, the annual fest had happened. Books and journals are available in the library, you don't have to worry about that. The classroom environment is overall good. Sports and extracurricular activities are available in the kit.

Hostel Facilities

There are different kinds of hostels in a kit like 3 bed non AC,2 bed non AC, 3 bed ac, 2-bed ac. with premium facilities also. They provide 1 bed, cupboard, mattress, bucket, mug, table and chair, and of course fan. The meal is ok. not too good. actually, different hostels have different tastes. The registration process for a hostel is very easy, we can do it by visiting the kit sap portal.

Hostel Fee: INR 56000 per year

Admission

We have to give an entrance exam named Kiitee which is free of cost. And if we score under 1000 rank then we will get a scholarship accordingly. And according to rank, we get the branches we requested in a serial manner.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
