Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is renewed in 2018 and is good. Professors here are well qualified having at least phd degree and having good teaching experience. Student to faculty ratio is average. Exams happen every semester on time and they are slightly on the difficult side to pass.

Internships Opportunities

There are some internship opportunities you get after 2nd year. Professors also help you get internships. Some internships you get at IIT Ropar, IIT mandi and some other good colleges. So overall internship opportunities are there if you fight well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa. Placements are also good for every branch in mechanical there is always 80-95% placements.

Campus Life

Life on campus is good but not that excellent. There are some college fest like techniti, utkansh etc which held every year and they are really awesome as students from other colleges are also invited. There are also many sports clubs and playing areas, many clubs for students to enhance their social skills.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are quite good. There are total 10 Boys hostels and 3 mega boys hostels having accomodation as 4 seater in first year then 2 seater in 2nd and 3rd year then 1 seater/2 seater in 4th year. Mess food is not that good. For survival you can eat it.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

The admission process is totally through the JOSAA seat counselling process happens after the jee advanced results. There is a 50% seat reservation for those who have done their schooling from Punjab i.e. 11th and 12th.

A student's perspective for his college

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

Placement Experience:

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Course Curriculum Overview:

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

When I'm in NITJ see what I got.

Placement Experience:

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
