Glimpse of KIIT from an eye of KIITIAN

ECS has 60% of computer science courses and 40% of electronics. For every 15 students, one faculty assigned as a tutor mentor to guide us throughout the semester Faculty was highly skilled and cleared all the doubts after the classroom as well the curriculum was well designed to the industry demand. Exams were conducted every 6 months, each semester has Mid sem and End sem and the difficulty level was medium to hard.

I got an opportunity in my 3rd year in digital marketing with a stipend of 10000 and most of my friends get into tech internships. Projects that we built helped us to get a job and to understand the industry's needs.

Many companies visited the campus it is up to the students how many offers they can crack and they'll give you extra training in case you didn't get placed. I got placed off-campus as there were 4000 students to compete with and I didn't make it. Up to 93% of students from my batch got placed in good MNCs. Highest package were 32LPA and average 4.5LPA

Fees were moderately high ad keeps increasing every year for new joiners and they charge exam fees every semester apart from fees There was a benefit of an Education loan which I took but the process was a bit lengthy most of my friends scored upto 9.5CGPA they got scholarships every semester. I didn't get placed on campus but I placed off-campus with a CTC of 4.5LPA

There are many fests conducted on a regular basis like E-summit, Kritarth, KIIT MUN, and much more but the big one was the annual KIIT Fest. Each school has its own Library with all the latest industry-related and course-related books and journals. All the classrooms are smart and Centralised AC, all the labs are equipped with enough instruments, an awesome experience we got in every lab and classroom. In KSAC there are lots of sports activities organized like cricket, basketball, football, TT, Chess, SWimming and a lot more

I took the KIITEE Entrance exam and score 3286 ranks, the exam was online in various locations in my hometown and was very convenient and the process was hassle-free. I got a seat in the women's category and then got a call from the college regarding the admission process and branch selection, we visit the campus and choose my branch. They will call you basis on your rank scored in the entrance exam to allot you the branch accordingly. In my rank computer science school branch got filled before my turn then I chose the ECS branch from electronics school.
