I like the teaching style of teachers and the curriculum of the college

I don’t like the classroom benches as they are very uncomfortable
I don’t like the food quality of this institute
Also, don’t like there is a little bit discrimination in other students and Kashmir guys

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the IT course because I am interested in it and the faculty is very good. In addition, the student ratio is 84 in class girls and boys are equal. The faculty is well qualified in IT and the exam is also at a good level.

There are very many internship opportunities in our college and the teachers and companies come for students to give them internship opportunities the college is good day offers us a good stipend as I have cleared Gsell 2023 which gives me 1,20,000 for three months.

No, because after Corona, there are many industrial in IT industries and the college has many companies The highest package is 42,00,00 and others are 12 to 14 for CS, IT and 8 to 6 for core branches.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like if you are general and have eight lakh of salary you have to pay the full 1,20,000 and if you are below five lakh you have to pay 50% and if you are below one lakh your tuition fees are fully neglected.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good. You can see the mountains in front of your campus. The campus is very beautiful and there are many places to make holidays. And the social groups and group clubs are very active. The most is the snap box which is singing and dancing clubs.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good but the miss world is okay. I will give 10 out of 5, but you have the option to go outside and I have food, the peaches and the hostel or also at four committed by five persons and the bathroom is good

Admission

You enter this by jee mains entrance exam. You have to score min 70percetile for the other state and min 50 per cent for the home state this data is within the category. You need your Obc and any other reservation.

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

There are in campus placements in our university. Students become eligible for the same from 7th semester. Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Admission:

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

I got this college on the basis of councellign held after jee main result before this i got Natinal institue of technology Megalya i left that beacuse of non permanent hostel facility and bad reviews from the seniors and the distance from mine hoemtown sikar(Rajasthan) even many good engineerig colleges was there in mine list but because of mine less marks in jee main and advance i am unable to get them (example : nit silchar, nit Wrangle, nit Trichy etc) but over all mine college was good according to Enviroment conditions and other parameters and the admission process was very smooth just you have to verify your documents ....Read More

As we all know that the B.Tech course is of four years and divided into eight semesters. It is offereed across 8 different specialisations including /cse, /ee, ECE, MEC, META, CIVIL, IT /cHE . The course admission is done on the basis of candidate's performance in JEE Main followed by JOSSA counselling/CSAB counselling. The allotment is donw on the basis of merit score in Je/e Main. The Eligibility Criteria is that the candiddate must qualify JEE Main and score above 75% marks in 12th.
