Likes
- Labs given for practical work. The labs help in building the concepts of the students and learn new things.
- Clubs. The clubs in the college were very active and they used to teach new things every week making college life more fun.
- Students. The students were very friendly and supportive.
Dislikes
- Washrooms. The only problem in my college was the washrooms which were broken and never got repaired.
- Ground. The ground was small and was never clean for playing.
- Assignments. The no. of assignments are always too many that it does not let you have some extra time for your studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very informative and the faculty is also very good. We had different seminars, events, and field trips for surveys which were crucial for skill development. The college has 3 labs for cartography, gis, and other practical subjects. faculty is also very involved and supportive. Most of the faculties members were Ph.D. holders.
Internships Opportunities
I did not join any internship as was too busy with my studies but we always heard of new internships in the college cell. They always had some internships lined up for students, so if one wants to join an internship he can through the cell.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees are feasible and there were many government scholarships available for the students like beti bachao beti padhao, etc. There were no campus selections but the college provided many internships to the students, there was a cell for internships - enactus Kalindi.
Campus Life
The college had a good vibe and the clubs, students were very friendly. There are various clubs to join such as dance club, music club, environment club, etc. The college had sports, NCC, and NSS all of which were very active. The annual fest usually takes place during April and various competitions are held. In the annual fest college invites various artists and ensures the safety of the student as well as the teachers.
Admission
I took admission in 2020 via merit and the cut-off was not very high. The admission process is very easy you will have to register in the Delhi University portal and they will guide you through further admission process.
