KIIT University is known for its well maintained and modern campus infrastructure
Offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various discipline including engineering
It places emphasis on extracurricular activities and provides ample opportunities for students to engage in sports cultural events

Dislikes

One issue that students have mentioned is overcrowding of infrastructure and facilities on the campus
The rigorous curriculum and heavy coursework in certain programs can be challenging for some students

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is BTech in CSE, I chose it because of its scope and future prospects. Faculty: Student Ratio 1:80 Faculty are PHd certified Exams are moderate to difficult, and proper knowledge and study can help to get good marks

Internships Opportunities

KIIT University provides various intensive opportunities to the students and collaboration with reputed companies organisations and research institutions offering internships in the fields of engineering management law medicine and more

Placement Experience

5th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements and internship opportunities. More than 500 companies visit every year for recruiting students. The highest package is 63 lakhs, the CSE average is 12 lakhs, Median is 7 lakhs. 100 per cent students get placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is only for the top 1000 students in KIITEE. It's 10k per month, for all four years maintaining their criteria for renewal like 7.5 SGPA in each semester and 75% minimum attendance with no backlogs and no indiscipline activity

Campus Life

Annual Fest, most probably organized in February. More than 10 lakh books are available in the library Various college societies are there for art, dance, music, poetry, theatre and many more GeeksForGeeks, GDSC, MLSA, and many more

Hostel Facilities

Bed, Cupboard, Chair, and Table are provided along with mattress, pillow, bedsheet and pillow cover. 2 sets are provided to each student. The mess menu and quality are extremely good. The registration process for the hostel starts after payment of counselling fees after selection for the KIITEE exam.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

The examination Name is KIITEE for admission. Exam Fees are zero. Anyone after the 12th with pcm can give this test. Applicable for BTech, MTech, BSc, BBA, BCom, MCom, And many more are available on the college website Exam registration usually starts in March/April

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
