Remarks

I write JEE Advanced 2022 exam to enter this college, I don't think that I should write about this exam as it is quite famous. Next, I participated in JOSSAA counselling so that I can get into this particular college and yeah Reservation helps me to get a CSE branch in this college, though even without reservation benefits I was eligible to enter into this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was very interested to know more about programming since I first read about it with interest in 11th standard so that's why I choose Computer Science And Engineering. Teachers here at IIT Dharwad are well qualified many of them have done PHD in their respective domains and yeah each teacher has their own innovative way of teaching and interacting with the students. Exams were difficult but as I mentioned earlier teachers are good we were able to get easily passed because of relative grading. But in some courses, it was difficult to pass as some of the teachers prefer the absolute grading method.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities are available for all-year students we get mail from our seniors and from Career Development Cell regarding what is required or what the candidate should have what type of skills to get this opportunity also stipends are also provided by some companies

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements here are good students from 3rd and 4th year gets offers from companies and they get hired based on their knowledge and skills required by the companies almost all students from the CSE branch get placed here. And moreover, I dont have more knowledge about our placement status.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here are a little high but here we are provided with the benefits of scholarships like Remission which is for those who are not in the financial condition to pay the fee based on the student's family income a student is supposed to pay his/her fee. The next type of scholarship is based on merit that whether the student is in the top 10% of his batch or not if he is then the tuition fee is relaxed.

Campus Life

4

Our campus is currently under construction so we are supposed to go to our temporary campus to avail sports ground benefits through badminton court, table tennis court, squash area and gym facilities are available here. Here yearly many sports, music and drama competitions are organised like a general championship and inter-branch championship. Tech fest and cultural fests are also organised here annually and many competitions are also organised related to tech like recently we had our Summer of Innovation event where different clubs of our college like coding club, robotics club astronomy club, etc posted a project that we were supposed to finish and submit it before the deadline of the respective event.

Hostel Facilities

4

Rooms here are of quite a good size they are big one room is supposed to be shared by 4 individuals it gets regularly cleaned and all other facilities are provided which are up to the scale like fans, lights, switch board, ethernet port. Food is just okay here we get breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner.

The courses are very nice since it is an autonomous college the courses have been designed to provide the students with knowledge of the latest technology and the need of the hour. Although the new subjects becomes a little difficult to understand sometimes at the end it's going to benefit us itself .

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.
