Course Curriculum Overview
There is a growth in AI technology. And I can learn more about artificial intelligence and machine learning through this course. So I took this course BE. The faculty have good knowledge in their respective field. For 65 students there will be 12 teachers each year. Some Faculty are PhD holders and some have doctorates. The faculty can apply to Vasavi College only if they are preparing to get a doctorate. Lecturers are good at teaching. They give good notes for preparation. Exams are of a good standard. For getting good marks you need to have good knowledge of that subject. Lecturers take good care of students. They don't leave students until they get good marks. There will be extra classes for students who have backlogs.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Google, Amazon, etc provide internship opportunities. The highest internship will be up to a range of 12 lack per annum Amazon or Google or some other company provide such internships. I haven't participated in any projects yet so I have less knowledge in that field. But college gives us opportunities and in 4th year students will be given some projects which they have to submit.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students will be eligible for placements. Internships also will be available. The college supports students having internships, Companies visited are Google, tata, Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft, Infosys, etc. The highest package is 90 lack per annum in Amazon company or Google company. Most computer science students get highly placed. In the computer science department, there is 100 percent placement. I know less about other departments. I plan to get a good job in a company or I will prefer further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year at the start of the month you need to pay 130000. And there be nearly 3000 for every semester as fees. You can apply for loans. For women, there are many scholarship opportunities. Faculty will notify us if there are any scholarships available for us. The college also gives us financial support. The government will pay some fees for us if we apply for college by eamcet counseling.
Campus Life
The college has Freshers, technical fests like hackathons, and big fests like Euphoria. Euphoria is conducted every year once. Hackathon is conducted once or twice a year. There is a big library where all books are available. We can get any type of book. We can take a book for 15 days. Or once if you pay 5000 for the library you get books that are recommended by faculty related to the semester. In classrooms, we have a projector and a blackboard. Benches are good enough to seat freely. College takes less care of sports and extracurricular activities but we have good facilities for sports. And we have clubs for extracurricular activities. Clubs in college are swayam, NSS, Abhinay, etc.
Admission
Eligibility eamcet qualifying rank or good rank in mains. Eamcet website you can apply for college or by directly going to college and applying for a seat with mains rank. Reservation will be applied only in eamcet. By category b there are some seats which we can get by mains percentile. If we apply using category b fees will be 1 lack 30 thousand. I like the admission process. There is no management in Kota so only with merit we will get a seat in Vasavi College of Engineering.
