Likes

The campus life is good ,after you come from 12th you will feel much freedom
The faculty have good experience and studied from good Universities
The infrastructure is very good and you will maximum everything you want in the college

Dislikes

The campus is just about 200acres and there aren't much good food options for South students.
The faculty teaching methods are not upto the mark and many prefer youtube to prepare for exams
The placement was good before but now due to recession it became low

Course Curriculum Overview

I had chosen this course mainly because of mathematics, I am deeply interested in mathematics. The ratio would be 1:15, all the faculty are well qualified and had done Ph.D. in IITs. The exams were as one semester for 4months, the exams were somewhat difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities available in our college, the madness of companies that offered internships in our college are Google Microsoft tcs jio Goldman Sachs Accenture, etc there are jobs in it sector and also core, but internships are more in it sector.

Placement Experience

The placements are good if you compare them with other private colleges and it is okay if you compare them with old IITs. From semester 7 onwards students become eligible for campus placements. The companies which visited are Google Microsoft Jio etc. The highest package this year is 1cr per annum average package is about 20to30lpa. The percentage of students getting placement is about 70. I plan to get a good placement and do a job after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is currently 1lpa per semester which is academic, hostel nd mess fee is 18k per semester. the fee generally increases by about 5% every year. If you belong to sc /st then there is no academic fee which means you only have to pay the hostel fee. For students with income less than 1lpa, the academic fee is zero. For students with income between 1lpa and 5lpa, the academic fee would be only one-third of the original fee.

Campus Life

The annual fest is SRIJAN and is conducted in the month of February, the tech fest is CONCETTO which is conducted In the month of October and there is also a sports fest called PARAKRAM. Our library is the second largest technical library in Asia so you would be getting maximum all types of books and journals. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and don't have ac. There is every sport and extra-curricular activity you can think of. There are many clubs on campus related to both technical and cultural activities.

Admission

I had taken admission by writing the JEE(Advanced) exam which you can write only if you have qualified JEE(mains).to get into the course for a general category student the crl should be between 3k to 5k. Everything about the JEE advanced exam can be found on the website jeeadv.ac.in.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
