Course Curriculum Overview

I took admission to CSE(Internet of thinks, Cybersecurity including Blockchain Technology) because I got this at the time of counseling. As I completed one year in this college I can say all of the faculties are very helpful, they always motivated us. Most of them completed their Ph.D., M.tech from a renowned university.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

As a Tier 3 college not so many big companies came into our college but the placement scenario is the ok type where TCS, Wipro, and cognizant come with mass hiring and the average placement is about 4.5lpa and according to official data 80% of students got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Total fees structure is around 4 lacs. Which is quite normal in private colleges. But there was a qouta for tfw (Tuition fee waiver) so if anybody gets a seat through tfw he has to pay only 50 - 60 lakhs in 4 year. There are different state government scholarships too.

Campus Life

The campus is not so much big but ok because most of the college in Kolkata doesn't have a single playground wherever Heritage has several grounds. There is a big library with lots of books and a digital library facility. In my college, there are about 20 clubs with different domains, and most of them are very active.

Admission

Heritage Institute of Technology comes under WBJEE. So if anyone wants to admission to any private college in West Bengal, attending the Wbjee is mandatory . The eligibility criteria is he/she must be from science background with physics, Math.

Most unfiltered review of IEM college .

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
