Course Curriculum Overview

The courses that have been offered is all shown and described in the website of the college. nie.ac.in Regarding the faculty; there is around 1:25 maybe Teaching method can be controversial. Exams are very frequent

Internships Opportunities

We have penalty of internship opportunities as well as most exciting nervously awaited opportunities to get into high work low paying internships. Overall it's a loss-loss situation, can't help it though. Its canon event afterall

Placement Experience

As I Heard from seniors and other faculties, internship starts from 6th sem and placements from 7th and 8th semester. Highest was 43lpa lowest goes till 5-6lpa Percentage of students getting placements is high upto 80% After degree, start up or if it doesn't work job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are preety constant ever year and increasing consistently. As per Comedk rules it increases 8% per year, that's what we are told. Regarding scholarship, an individual can apply for private scholarships as well as government scholarship but from college no such scholarship provided, as per my knowledge

Campus Life

As per the Campus life, it sucks, honestly, NORTH CAMPUS is not a fucking campus. Its just two fucking buildings, they call it "IT CAMPUS" there is nothing literally NOTHING here. Fest are pretty decent. Books are available ( only academic purposes) Clubs are countable and preety useless

Admission

I was admitted through Comedk, Eligibility is 12+ 75% in maths, phy and chem Application form can be found on their website. No such reservations for me. Time duration was too long, it could have been Faster and efficient

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

Placement Experience:

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I came to nie through kcet. Kcet application can be found in the website of kea. I availed rural quota. So the first round cutoff was around 9201 for information science. I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths.
