What Students Say

Likes

Campus is greenhouse, beautiful and aesthetic.
It has several libraries and food courts.
Students are getting 100% placements with a good package.

Dislikes

The prices for the mess is too high.it should be reduced
The price for the hostel fee is too much for a single semester
The washing machine facility they provide is good but they shouldn't be limiting us with 1 wash per week only

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I was interested in learning new programming languages. The number of students is very high and the university has provided a very sufficient and proficient number of faculties. They are educated from very renowned educational institutions bearing doctorates. We are appearing 2exams in a semester i.e.mid sem and a final sem.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

KIIT gives a lot of opportunities for internships. KIIT has a good number of companies and the training and placement sector works very well preparing us for interviews. They first train us and then also give us certificates which help us in getting them into the resume.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible from the end of the 3rd year mostly in the 7th semester for campus placements. very renowned companies like ACCENTURE, AMAZON, GOOGLE, and many more companies do hire us. The highest package till now is 56lakhs. All of the students get placed to pursue MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a bit heavier than other institutions. But they ensure about all of the factors like good food, air-conditioned rooms and quality education and a very big and Greenery campus. If you score a good rank, they you get a scholarship 10000every month.

Campus Life

I am in CSE so my fest name was KAIUS and it happened in the month of February. KIIT provides a central library and for every department, it has its own departmental library. The classrooms are digitalized. There are a large number and various types of clubs and societies.

Hostel Facilities

I'm living in a 3 bedded Ac room. We are provided 2 fans, 3 cupboards,3 study tables,1 ac. They provide good food. There are various PGS also near the campus. We are provided a good quality and quantity of food.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

I first applied for KIITEE (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology entrance examination). Here, my rank was eligible for the further process of admission. I was asked to fill a form according to my preferences for engineering branches and was given CSE accordingly. I found the application form on the university website itself.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
